DALLAS, Feb 4, 2026 — Children’s Health, the leading pediatric health care system in North Texas, announces the opening of Children’s Health Specialty Center Fairview. Located just north of the Fairview Town Center, the Specialty Center is designed to expand access to high-quality pediatric care for families in the rapidly growing Collin and Denton counties and beyond.
The more than 28,000-square-foot facility offers a wide range of pediatric specialty services in one convenient location. The new specialty center includes 24 exam rooms, two audiology booths, two procedure rooms and two consult rooms, supporting care in Pulmonology, Neurology, Audiology, Gastroenterology, Allergy and Immunology, Otolaryngology (ENT) and Cardiology, with Urology services expected to open later this year.
“Specialty Center Fairview is a critical component of our Northern Market expansion, designed to meet the needs of the growing community,” said Dai Chung, M.D., Chief Medical Officer for the Joint Pediatric Enterprise of Children’s Health and UT Southwestern. “It builds on the strong foundation of our Plano campus, which was the first pediatric hospital north of Dallas, and complements our existing Specialty Centers in Allen, Frisco and Prosper. Together, these locations bring high-quality pediatric specialty care closer to home for families in the region and further our mission to make life better for children.”
Specialty Center Fairview also includes the fourth location of the Children’s Health Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, which opened on Sept. 2, 2025, and provides advanced musculoskeletal, sports medicine, fracture and concussion care, as well as same-day access for all acute injuries. The Specialty Center features a convenient on-site rehabilitation gym staffed by sports-certified physical therapists, hand therapists and athletic trainers dedicated to helping patients recover from injuries and return to their desired activity levels.
“The Children’s Health Specialty Center Fairview represents a major investment in the health and well-being of our community’s children and their families,” said John Hubbard, PhD, Mayor of Fairview. “Having leading-edge pediatric care right around the corner is more than just a convenience; it reflects a shared commitment to offering world-class services to our residents, attracting new enterprises and supporting the health of our commercial district. We are grateful to the dedicated medical professionals and partners who made this vision a reality, and we welcome Children’s Health as a valuable asset to our community.”
As demand grows for pediatric care in Texas’ Northern Market and beyond, Specialty Center Fairview continues to position Children’s Health as the premiere health care destination for families in North Texas.
