WHO:
DALLAS, Oct 13, 2013 — Patients at Children’s Medical Center Dallas who may not otherwise be able to attend the State Fair of Texas won’t miss the festivities when “Fair Day” comes to the hospital.
WHAT:
Children’s Medical Center will host its third annual Fair Day. Children’s and several official State Fair of Texas sponsors found a way to transport the fun and festivities of the fair to the patients and their families.
There will be carnival games, giveaways, basketball shoot-outs, crafts, music, sports trivia, prizes and appearances by Texas Rangers alumni Kevin Mench, Rangers mascot “Captain,” and the Rangers “Six-Shooters” courtesy of Chevrolet. Completing the State Fair of Texas experience is the iconic fair food of corny dogs, turkey legs and funnel cakes.
