Event brings together former patients, families and care teams for joyful reunions, fun at AT&T Stadium
DALLAS, June 28, 2025 — Children’s Health℠ will host its annual Children’s Health Round Up on Saturday, June 28 at AT&T Stadium. The heartfelt event brings together current and former patients, their families, physicians, and care teams for a Western-themed afternoon filled with fun, food, and joyful reunions. Round Up is designed to honor each family’s journey and the resilience of the children who inspire us every day. It supports ongoing connections between care teams and families, allowing time to reconnect outside of a clinical setting.
“At Children’s Health, our patients are at the heart of everything we do—not just while they’re in our care, but long after they’ve gone home,” said Dane Peterson, Chief Operating Officer for Children’s Health. Round Up is a meaningful way for providers to reconnect with families, reflect on their strength and resilience, and see how far they’ve come. Watching former patients thrive is one of the most rewarding parts of our work to make life better for children.”
This year’s Round Up will once again take place at AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys. Families will have the opportunity to step onto the field where their hometown team plays, tour the Cowboys’ locker rooms, and get a behind-the-scenes look at some of the stadium’s most iconic spaces. Patients and families will experience a variety of family-friendly activities including a soft play area, bounce house and obstacle course, carnival games, photo booth, face painting and more. Families can also enjoy a kid-friendly snack buffet and nostalgic soda shoppe offering saltwater taffy and refreshments.
Among Children’s Health’s nationally ranked specialty programs represented at this year’s event are the Pauline Allen Gill Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, The Heart Center, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Trauma Services, Endocrinology, Asthma Management and more.
This year’s Round Up “Mayor” is Micah, a courageous patient from The Heart Center, who will help lead festivities and serve as the event ambassador. Micah’s strength, spirit and story embody the resilience and hope that Round Up was created to celebrate.
“Children’s Health has been with us every step of the way—through some of our hardest moments and the most hopeful ones,” said Micah’s mom, Brittany. “To see Micah now, leading Round Up as Mayor, is such a full-circle moment. This event is more than just a fun day. It’s a reminder of the incredible care, love and support we’ve received from Micah’s entire care team.”
